Before you look any further around the site, I want to say a huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to every one of you who’ve taken the time to check out the site and the music, to send an encouraging note, or to let me know a particular song has moved you. I am honestly amazed and humbled at the overwhelming response. It’s been awesome hearing from and catching up with friends from years past, and making many new friends daily from all over the country. You have all made me feel incredibly loved! This has been a labor of love, spanning years. The songs have come out of my own experience and conversations with friend, even some of YOU – real life stuff, not stuff that was just made up to fill an album. They reflect my heart and, I hope, will reach yours. Some of the songs acknowledge that place where faith collides with day-to-day reality, and not everything is as clear and easy as we thought it was supposed to be. Others are just simple nods toward heaven, saying Thank You. I hope that at least one song meets you where you are – that you enjoy the music, but more so, that it becomes as meaningful to you as it was to me the day it was penned.
